Angels of God   with Pastor Jay
 

Back by popular request! This class will revisit a study of Angels from about five years ago and go into greater depth. Using the book "Angels: Elect and Evil" by C. Fred Dickason, along with various scriptures, this class will study what the Bible actually teaches about the host of heaven, God's angels. Pastor Jay will be the class leader. (Jay will also offer the contrasting class in the spring of 2027 to see what the Bible tells us about the fallen angels who oppose God and Christians, using the same book.)

The Case for the Resurrection   with JT Brantley

This class will study the book "The Case for the Resurrection of Jesus" by Mike Licona and Gary Habermas, which outlines the historical case for Jesus' resurrection. It focuses on historical facts and evidence to show that even if a person takes a skeptical stance, the most reasonable conclusion to the evidence is that Christ did in fact rise from the dead. The book also addresses common objections and how to talk to unbelievers. As we study this book together, our main goals will be to better understand the core belief of our faith, to become better evangelists, and to strengthen our confidence in the resurrection
